海琳卡特 was appointed Assistant Vice President of 机构发展 at 佩因大学 in 2009, and later promoted to Vice President in April 2019. She was recruited to lead a newly developed fundraising unit (Institutional Development) designed to support several fundraising offices: 校友关系; Communications & Marketing; Endowments, Scholarships and render services for the team that directed the legislative agenda for the Institution. 自从她来到潘恩之后. 卡特 has steered several grant applications that benefited capital improvements for residential halls, 学术的建筑, 和教堂. Prior her entry to higher education, Ms. 卡特 coordinated televised pay-per-view boxing bouts and managed the offices for the late sports promoter Butch Lewis (1993-1997) and boxing legend Michael Spinx. Ms. 卡特是Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Ms. 卡特 enjoys the Smokey Mountains and unabashedly loves and cares for the canine species.
